Description
I came upon this man sweeping the streets and took a few pictures of him in action. Upon spotting me he asked to be photographed under the gravure of Taras Shevchenko, Ukraine's greatest bard. He said that he lived under the Russians, the Poles, the Germans, Austrians and Romanians, therefore he wished to have a portrait of himself under this emblem.

it moved my heart. Looking at the picture somewhat reminded me of my father: humble and yet loved by all. A beautiful photograph, Yuri, so full of meaning.
